TidyZero

Privacy Policy

Effective November 2, 2026

TidyZero is built so that your photos stay yours. This policy explains what the app accesses and what leaves your device.

Your photos and videos

With your permission TidyZero reads your photo library to find similar shots, duplicates, screenshots, blurry photos and large videos. All analysis runs on your device. Photos, videos, thumbnails and analysis results are never uploaded, shared or sold. The app keeps a small cache of analysis results in its private storage so the next scan is faster; it is removed when you delete the app.

Contacts, calendar and apps

If you open the Contacts tab or Old Events, TidyZero asks for access to your contacts or calendar to find duplicates, contacts without a name and past events. A contact backup is a .vcf file you save or share yourself. On Android, if you turn on Usage access, the app lists apps you have not opened for a while and their cache size. All of this stays on your device and is never uploaded.

Private Vault

Photos and videos you move to the Private Vault (TidyZero Pro) are kept inside the app on your device and are excluded from iCloud and Google backups, so they are removed when you delete the app. If you lock the vault with Face ID, Touch ID, a fingerprint or your device passcode, the check is done by the operating system; TidyZero never receives biometric data.

Notifications and widget

If you start a free trial, TidyZero can schedule one local reminder two days before the trial ends; it is created on your device, not sent from a server. The home screen widget shows space freed by TidyZero and free space on your device, read on the device.

Deleting

TidyZero deletes items only after you confirm in the system dialog. Deleted items go to Recently Deleted (iOS) or Trash (Android 11 and later) for 30 days. Android 8–10 has no Trash, so deleting there is permanent.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to check whether TidyZero Pro is active; it receives your purchase receipts and an anonymous app user ID. No name, email or photo data is sent. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

What we do not do

No account, no advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, no analytics SDKs.

Children

TidyZero is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights and contact

Since we do not hold personal data about you, there is nothing to export or erase on our side; purchase records are kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat. For any privacy question write to support@tidyzero.online. If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above.
